Lakota Good Samaritan Society Receives BES Rebate
The Lakota Good Samaritan Society has recently completed a project that involved energy efficiency upgrades to the lighting of their facility. The Good Samaritan Society was able to apply for a rebate from Missouri River Energy Services to assist with the expense. Missouri River Energy Services provided the Good Samaritan Society with $6,903 in rebates for the upgrades. This project will continue to save the Good Samaritan Society for years to come with the reduction in energy usage long-term. The total estimated savings the Good Samaritan Society will see is 22.72 kW monthly and 166,733 kWh annually. In addition to the energy savings, the facility has new fixtures and bulbs that have a longer life than previous technology; also saving on maintenance costs in the future. Randy Sayler, City of Lakota’s new Journeyman Lineman, presented Lakota Good Samaritan Society administrator Michelle Antoine and employee Floyd Alford with their rebate check. To apply for cash incentives, customers must complete an application form and provide the required documentation to the city office. Application forms are available through local contractors and retailers, and can also be printed at www.brightenergysolutions.com.
